Omani law firm bags two awards at IFLR Middle East in Dubai


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Omani law firm Al Busaidy Mansoor Jamal & Co (AMJ) has won two prestigious international awards at the ninth annual IFLR Middle East Awards ceremony in Dubai recently.

The firm scooped the 'Equity Team of the year' award with strong competition from the UAE-based legal powerhouses Clifford Chance Linklaters and Latham and Watkins. In addition the firm was named IFLR's 'Oman Law Firm of the Year' for having the best track record of providing local-law advice on the most innovative cross-border deals in Oman during 2013-14.

The firm was also shortlisted in the Deal of the Year category for its landmark equity and project finance deals over the 12 month period including Sembcorp Salalah Power and Water Company IPO Al Batinah and Al Sawadi power company IPOs and Sohar Refinery expansion project.
