(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) As part of the monthly Reyooq event the National Business Centre (NBC) which comes under the Public Establishment for Industrial Estates (PEIE) hosted two entrepreneurs Zuwaina al Rashdi CEO of World of Handicrafts and Badar al Shidi business development and planning manager of Al Badr Al Muneer for Modern Projects on Wednesday. Zuwaina and Shidi shared their rich experience insights and challenges in the field of entrepreneurship.
'Despite all the challenges that I faced in my journey I believe that the person who has the will to succeed overcomes challenges to reach the goals. The vision of World of Handicrafts is to make the traditional Omani products grow into a renowned and distinguished brand in the region and even further' Zuwaina said. World of Handicrafts is actively involved in the production marketing and promotion of Omani handicrafts in an effort to preserve the sultanate's heritage.
The company supports a number of Omani families who are into the business of arts and crafts in various governorates of the sultanate.
Meanwhile Badar al Shidi emphasised that problems faced by entrepreneurs allow them to flourish at a later stage. Al Badr Al Muneer is involved in several activities including the import of meat and poultry wholesale food organising events and providing catering services at parties and events. Besides the company is the exclusive agent for the South Africa-based restaurant Barcelos in Oman which is located in Ghubra. 'I believe that Barcelos is only the beginning for more successful endeavours in the future' Shidi said.
