(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) US President Barack Obama telephoned Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff on Tuesday to congratulate her on her re-election and to discuss deepening bilateral cooperation, the White House said.
Obama €Åemphasized the strategic value of bilateral partnership and reinforced his commitment to deepening cooperation in areas such as commerce, energy, and other priority bilateral issues through our existing strategic dialogues,€€Œ the White House said in a statement late Tuesday.
Rousseff thanked Obama and €Åaffirmed that strengthening ties with the United States is a priority for Brazil,€€Œ the White House said.
