President of FOKAL Foundation Meets Qatari Ambassador
(MENAFN- QNA) Former Prime Minister of the Republic of Haiti Michele Pierre-Louis, who is also President of FOKAL Foundation, with HE Qatar's non-resident Ambassador to Haiti Khamis Butti Al Sahouti.
Talk during the meeting dealt with the efforts made by FOKAL Foundation in collaboration with Qatar Foundation to rebuild Haiti. President of FOKAL Foundation praised Qatar's assistance, especially in the field of education, stressing the importance of education in the formation of future generations which will contribute to the development their countries.
On the other hand, HE the Qatari Ambassador visited one of the universities that had been partially rebuilt after the earthquake (Kiskeya), where he met with its Director Jackie Le Mark who made a presentation about the difficulties facing Haitian people to move forward towards the restoration process of the study in the universities in particular and in all education institutions in general.
