(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) The Public Authority for Civil Aviation (PACA) has said that Tropical Cyclone Nilofar over central Arabian Sea is still persisting with wind speed of 85 to 95 knots.
The centre of the cyclone is about 510km from Oman's south-east coast.
Weather charts indicate that the cyclone will start moving in a north-easterly direction away from Oman's coast towards Pakistan and India in the next 24 hours.
PACA has said that the sea will remain rough during this period. 'Moderate to heavy rain is expected over Al Wusta and South Sharqiyah accompanied by strong winds from Tuesday evening till Thursday.'
