Dubai Holding, Emaar Properties sign deal for mega project


(MENAFN) Emaar Properties and Dubai Holding uncovered their plan for six million square meters master development 'Dubai Creek Harbor at The Lagoons' and also launched their first residential project Dubai Creek Residences, Khaleej Times reported.

Dubai Creek Harbor project is expected to consist of two 40-storey residential towers in Dubai Creek Residences and will be launched simultaneously on November 1, 2014, in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, London, and Moscow.

"Dubai Creek Residences takes residents to the very source of Dubai's history and provides them a modern, luxurious, living environment and it is a historic development that aligns with the future goals of our city, led by the visionary leadership of Shaikh Mohammed. It also marks the spirit of partnership that Dubai fosters whereby Dubai Holding and Emaar Properties are sharing their synergies and building on their core competencies to create another iconic project that will be the pride of the city," Emaar Properties chairman said.

This project comes after a series of mega projects which have been launched in Dubai over the past 18 months, which includes the Mall of the World, Dubai Water Canal, Deira Islands, amongst others as the emirate prepares for the Expo in 2020.
