Qatar- HH the Emir Meets Qatari Students in the United Kingdom

(MENAFN- QNA) HH the Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani met Qatari students on scholarships to the United Kingdom at the Dorchester Hotel in London on Tuesday evening.

At the outset of the meeting, HH the Emir welcomed the students, commending their efforts in educational attainment and being far away from the country in order to learn and serve their country. His Highness urged them to make every effort in learning and acquiring knowledge, and show determination and will to benefit from the knowledge exchange offered by the scholarship. HH the Emir stressed the state's keenness on providing higher learning opportunities for students, the need for them to be the goodwill ambassadors of their homeland and the best expertise that would contribute to Qatar's development.

His Highness also urged the students to exert more diligence and hard work since they are the ambassadors of the country.

For their part, the students expressed their gratitude to HH the Emir on this generous gesture and expressed their pleasure and honor to meet His Highness Emir, saying that they will redouble their efforts in learning and acquiring knowledge in order to serve the country in the future.
