(MENAFN- AFP) The Sao Paulo stock market slumped six percent within minutes of Monday's opening bell following the re-election of leftist Dilma Rousseff as president.
The benchmark Ibovespa index dropped to 48,823 points while on the currency market the real was off 4.0 percent against the dollar at 2.55.
