China's Vanke profit growth slows in Q3


(MENAFN) Data showed that China Vanke, the country's largest property developer, logged a profit growth in the third quarter of 2014 much slower than that for the same period last year, Xinhua reported.

Net profits edged up 2.8 percent over a year to USD 268 million in the third quarter, while the growth was sharply down from the 18.39 percent surge posted in the third quarter of 2013.

Profits in the January-September period rose 4.84 percent, down from 5.55 percent in the first half and 21.27 percent in the first nine months of 2013, the data showed.

Meanwhile, total revenue in the first three quarters declined 0.43 percent from a year earlier to USD10.28 billion, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed.
