Kingdom of Saudi Arabia maintains seat at ITU Council


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency)  The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was re-elected for 4-year term membership of the International Telecommunication Union Council in elections held today in the city of Busan, South Korea.

The kingdom has been member of the council since 1965.

On this occasion, Minister of Communications and Information Technology Engineer Mohamed Jamil Bin Ahmed Mulla extended congratulations to the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on this win, stressing it was achieved thanks to the leadership's support for Communications and Information Technology sector.
