Europe's car market growth to slow in 2015

(MENAFN) Europe's auto market is forecasted to log slower growth next year, as it continues to recover from the global economic crisis, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

European auto market has been growing at a pace of 6 percent so far this year, which is the best since the 2007 crisis, French carmaker Renault's Chairman said in a statement.

Many foreign carmakers turned to China, the world's largest auto market, in the wake of the global crisis as their home markets in the United States or Europe collapsed.

"I don't see another 6 percent increase. I think the increase will probably be more moderate than 6 percent... in line with GDP (gross domestic product) growth," he said.
