(MENAFN- QNA) HE the Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Dr. Hamad Abdul Aziz Al-Kuwari met here today with visiting Deputy Chinese Minister of Culture Ding Wei and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting they reviewed aspect of cultural relations between the two friendly countries and means of developing them and agreed to make early preparations for the Cultural Year Qatar-China in 2016. They also agreed to sign a relevant activation protocol during the visit of HE the Minister to China.
For his part, the Chinese Minister praised Qatar's support for the cultural activities held in Doha and Qatar's effective participation in Arab activities held in China particularly the Sino-Arab Forum.
The visiting Chinese deputy minister conveyed to HE Al-Kuwari an invitation from the Chinese Minister of Culture to visit china as soon as possible for further discussions on means to bolter relations between the two sides.
