Oman's National Business Centre signs pacts to incubate two companies


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Continuing its efforts to provide a platform to support and develop Omani entrepreneurs the National Business Centre (NBC) recently signed incubation agreements with Al Salama Fire Engineering Consultancy and Abraj Mirbat Safety Services Company.

Al Salama Fire Engineering Consultancy is registered and approved by civil defence authorities and specialises in designing buildings that meet requirements of the Directorate General of Civil Defence's Fire Hazard Prevention Department and NFPA codes which are used for life safety and protection of buildings from fire loss a press release said.

On the other hand Abraj Mirbat Safety Services Company is the result of a merger between Abraj Mirbat Safety Services and Maxell International. The company has been operating in GCC for the past 12 years working on small and largescale safety services including H2S and air loop firefighting life boats and marine services personal protective equipment and other safety services the release said.

The company now plans to expand its operations to Oman. The business plan under the agreement will lay out the goals and tasks of the company to make this transition is successful.  NBC will guide these companies provide intensive training and mentoring to build entrepreneurial skills in an  environment that allows entrepreneurs to flourish network and form partnerships the release stated.
