(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Tens of thousands of people were without power in Bulgaria Saturday after heavy snowfall hit the country unexpectedly early, dpa cited officials as saying.
Three reservoirs near the Black Sea city of Burgas overflowed because
of the snow, prompting authorities to move dozens of people to
safety, the mayor said.
Authorities in Burgas as well as in the Balkan Mountains city of
Gabrovo declared weather emergencies.
