Israeli Occupation Forces Suppress Palestinian Marches


(MENAFN- QNA) Israeli occupation forces on Friday disrupted Al-Maasara weekly march and prevented it from reaching the confiscated lands.

Today's march, organized by the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements in the village, came in solidarity with the Holy Al-Aqsa Mosque and to denunciation of the incursions by Israeli occupation forces and Jewish settlers, and in denunciation the killing of Palestinians by settlers.

The March started from the village's centre with the participation of dozens of locals and foreign peace activists who hoisted Palestinian flags and roamed the village, chanting slogans in solidarity with prisoners and Al-Aqsa. Upon arrival at the entrance to the village dozens of Israeli soldiers formed a human barrier to prevent the marchers from reaching the confiscated lands.

In the same context, a number of citizens were injured by inhalation of tear gas when Israeli occupation forces hurled canisters to disperse Nabi Saleh weekly peaceful march.
