Cypriot Plane en Route to Lebanon Crashes
(MENAFN- QNA) Lebanese authorities located the wreckage of a Cypriot training plane which crashed en route to Beirut from Cyprus Wednesday evening with two men on board, Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk said.
"We were able to locate the wreckage of the plane 100 kilometers off the Lebanese coast after receiving assistance from UNIFIL vessels," Machnouk told Al-Mustaqbal newspaper.
A source from Rafik Hariri International Airport, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the two men aboard the Cypriot plane were a Cypriot and a Lebanese, identified as George Obagi. Their fate remains unknown, according to (The Daily Star).
