Oman Air experiences huge demand for Manila Jakarta seats
(MENAFN- Arab News) Oman Air is experiencing unexpectedly high demand for seats on two new routes that are due to be launched in December.
Bookings to the two new destinations of Manila and Jakarta opened in August and immediately attracted enquiries from passengers planning their Christmas and New Year breaks.
In addition great interest in the new flights have been expressed by the international Filipino and Indonesian diaspora who have warmly welcomed this new opportunity to visit friends and family in their home cities.
From Dec. 2 Oman Air will be offering two flights a week to Manila with a third frequency being operated from Dec. 13. From Dec. 12 three flights per week will be offered to Jakarta with a fourth frequency being operated from Jan. 2 2015. Oman Air's award-winning Airbus A330s will serve both routes enabling customers to enjoy the internationally acclaimed comfort space and onboard service for which Oman Air is famed.
Flights from Muscat to Manila will arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport from where passengers will be able to explore the economic and political heart of the Philippines. The city is home to extensive commerce and some of the most historically and culturally significant landmarks in the country.
Meanwhile passengers arriving at Jakarta's Soekarno-Hatta International Airport are able to make the most of one of Southeast Asia's most populous cities. Jakarta is the capital city of Indonesia and the country's economic cultural and political center having been a major port since the fourth century.
