Valerie Mazarowski Produces a Brutally Honest and Powerful Film Baggage Which Explores the Consequences of Bullying

(MENAFNEditorial)

Bullying has become a scourge in our schools with many of the most egregious cases resulting in the suicides of victims. While most people agree something must be done to stop this epidemic—almost 83 percent of girls and 79 percent of boys have been bullied—few people have created solutions. Valerie Saturno Mazarowski a victim of childhood bullying has created a raw and emotionally powerful film “Baggage” that depicts the enduring consequences of bullying on adults. “Baggage” offers new insights into the effects on adults who were subject to physical or emotional bullying as children.

Valerie has crafted one of the most honest movies about the tragic consequences of bullying. Using her own story of victimization as the inspiration for a story of terror and lingering grief Valerie provides a revealing look at how bullying can destroy lives. She also uses “Baggage” as encouragement for past victims and concerned adults to intercede in the lives of children who may resort to extreme measures to avoid continued harassment.

This film promises to shine a light on adults who suffer from the enduring trauma of childhood bullying but it can only reach its intended audience if the production team can show it at festivals and earn the support of distributors. Valerie and her crew would like to show “Baggage” at major American and international festivals like Sundance Tribeca and Cannes but they require financial support to complete production and make submissions. To raise $13300 needed for this process Valerie has sponsored a campaign on Kickstarter. Backers who donate to this immensely important project may receive rewards like DVDs Blu-Rays film credits movie posters private screenings producer credits or speaking engagements by Valerie Saturno Mazarowski.
