(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Omani Women's day is celebrated across the country as per the Royal Directives of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said allocating October 17 as the day for the Omani women.
Omani women employees of Suhail Bahwan Group companies gathered recently at the group's headquarters in Al Rawaq Qurm to celebrate Omani Women's Day.
Amal Suhail Bahwan managing director and board member of Suhail Bahwan Group was the chief guest of the occasion who cut a cake to mark the occasion.
Amal said 'Suhail Bahwan Group is pleased to celebrate this great day as this is an honour for the Omani women appreciating and recognising their contributions achievements and values they bring to the Omani society.
'At Suhail Bahwan Group we recognise the importance of women employees' role in their workplace and to the overall success of the group.'
The Suhail Bahwan Group has commenced several initiatives for the Omani employees particularly the women employees that include recognising and awarding the best employees of the month regular training programmes to upgrade their professional skills etc.
