Qatar Investment Authority CEO Meets French Parliamentary Officials


(MENAFN- QNA) Qatar Investment Authority's Chief Executive Officer HE Ahmad bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, currently on a visit to France, met Monday with Francois Brottes, chairman of the economic affairs committee of the French National Assembly.

HE Al-Sayed also met Maurice Leroy, head of the French parliament's Qatar-France friendship society. The two meetings reviewed cooperation ties between the two countries in the field of investment.

HE Qatar's Ambassador to France Sheikh Meshal bin Hamad Al-Thani attended the meetings.

In addition, HE Al-Sayed held an open forum today at Paris Dauphine University in which he discussed QIA strategies.

HE Qatar's ambassador attended the forum along with Paris Dauphine University president, a number of Arab ambassadors and diplomats accredited to the French capital and a large crowd of students from the university's economics department.

Yesterday, HE QIA's CEO attended the opening of the Strategic Attractiveness Council, which was held under the patronage of French President Francois Hollande in the presence of senior officials from leading investment corporations and international firms.
