General Keith B. Alexander (Ret) Talks on The Future of Cyber Security

October 20th 2014 - The Government Technology Research Alliance (GTRA) has announced the addition of General Keith B. Alexander USA (Ret) to keynote on The Future of Cyber Security at its upcoming SecureGOV Council Meeting.   General Keith B. Alexander is the former Commander of the U.S. Cyber Command Director of the National Security Agency and Chief of the Central Security Service and currently serves as the CEO and President of IronNet Cybersecurity.

 

“We are honored and humbled at General Alexander’s decision to Keynote this year’s Summit and Council Meeting” Said Parham Eftekhari EVP of Research and Co-founder of GTRA. “His experiences as the head of the NSA make him one of the most intriguing people of our time and his topic; ‘The Future of Cybersecurity’ is very appropriate given his unique insights and expertise in the subject. It is sure to be a once in a lifetime experience for those in attendance.”

 

GEN (Ret) Alexander will be joining other GTRA featured speakers including: Donald Adcock Acting CIO Department of Energy; Roberta Stempfley Assistant Secretary National Cyber Security Division; Frank Baitman CIO Department of Health and Human Services; Dorine Andrews CIO Peace Corps; and Rod Turk CISO Department of Energy.

 

The annual SecureGOV Summit and Council Meeting will be held at the Lansdowne in Leesburg Virginia on December 7th-9th 2014. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about Data Security Cyber Security Identity and Access Management Mobile Security Cloud Security Privacy Leadership IT Workforce Planning and Secure IT Supply Chain.
