Joint Venture For Ceylon Cinnamon Plantation In Sri Lanka

(MENAFNEditorial) Mountainbreeze has taken on a joint venture with Silk Road Cinnamon who represents the Diyadola Estate; a family owned plantation in Sri Lanka.  With this partnership their objectives are to use the marketing knowhow and retail experience of Mountainbreeze to further promote their organically grown Ceylon Cinnamon product in the USA.

The U.S. market promises great opportunities and returns as the trend for healthy cinnamon prevails.  People in the U.S. are very aware of what they consume and are turning to healthy and organic products.

Mountainbreeze founder Riedmann says this joint venture will be an amazing project not only for its profitability but also its support for fair-trade.  Silk Road a family owned plantation in Sri Lanka is looking forward to this business opportunity since it will ensure further funding for their plantation.

This funding will help to employ many family members as well as local workers.  The cinnamon industry is an important way of life for many inhabitants of Sri Lanka who rely on this industry to support their families as well as to finance their children's education.

Growth expectations will certainly increase as awareness levels are promoted on a regular basis.  Riedmann says that once the customer becomes aware of the advantages and health benefits of Ceylon cinnamon it will not be hard to create a substantial customer base.

Other competitors on the market have entered in a cut throat pricing war which only can mean that the quality must be in superior.  Organically grown Ceylon cinnamon has its price. Since it is a fair trade project the price offered on the market is a very realistic and fair price.

The pricing strategy is to satisfy everyone in the supply chain starting from the plantation all the way through to the customer.  Ceylon cinnamon should be affordable but at a realistic price which mirrors its quality.

Coupled with the expertise and marketing channels that Mountainbreeze has and the quality of Ceylon Cinnamon the joint venture has a promising future.
