STC, Cisco sign deal for multiple projects

(MENAFN) The Saudi Telecom Company (STC) said it has agreed to strategically collaborate on several high level projects with Cisco in order to build joint solutions for the Saudi Arabian market, which will result in increasing customer benefits, creating a joint go-to-market strategy to address the ICT market in Saudi Arabia and build 3 new data centers which will represent the largest Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) deployment in the Middle East to date, Saudi Gazette reported.

These joint projects will focus on key technology market transitions including video, cloud, mobility and security, with these projects expected to impact all areas of business operations in Saudi Arabia, particularly as businesses begin entering into the era of the Internet of Everything (IoE).

'Cisco has been a longstanding strategic STC partner and we are delighted to be expanding our strong relationship. As a leading provider of ICT services in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, STC's goal is to maintain its leadership position by continuously innovating to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers.
