Toyota recalls 1,880 Lexus vehicles in China


(MENAFN) Toyota Motor China Investment Co. Ltd announced recalling 1,880 imported Lexus vehicles in the mainland of China over fuel leakage defects, Xinhua reported.

Starting November 14th, the recall will include Lexus models produced in the period between July 3, 2007 and July 12, 2010, the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine said.

Defects in the engine oil pipeline of the recalled cars may cause fuel leakages, the statement said. The carmaker offers to replace the pipeline gasket to eliminate the safety risks.
