The Ministry of State for Federal National Council Affairs (MFNCA) has launched a smartphone app to enable members of the society to receive news and information about its activities.
Tariq Hilal Lootah Undersecretary of the ministry said the new app is a tangible outcome of the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai to utilise modern technology to enhance communication with all members of the society and spread a culture of smart government in order to reach the public round the clock through smart devices.
Pointing out that political participation and awareness are key strategic goals of the ministry he said the app enables the public to follow the latest news and releases of the ministry. This will be especially beneficial for political science and law university students and researchers he said elaborating that they can download the application on their iPhones by typing ‘MFNCA’ in Apple Store.
