Gulf Air starts service to Iran's Shiraz

(MENAFN) Gulf Air, the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, announced it is planning to launch new flights to Shiraz, the capital of Fars Province in Iran, thus becoming the airline's 40th destination, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

The flights, which will be a three times a week service starting from December 15, will strengthen the carrier's presence in Iran after the recent resumption of flights to both Tehran and Mashhad earlier this year and will help travelers connect to other key Middle Eastern, European and Asian destinations within Gulf Air's extensive network.

"Gulf Air's Shiraz flights, with our attractive schedule and short flight times, will cater to the strong passenger demand we have seen in the market and so we hope that this, our 40th route, will appeal to travelers and be a success," Gulf Air Acting CEO said.
