One death, six cases of CCHF reported in Oman


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) One person has died of Crimean-Congo Haemorrhagic Fever (CCHF) in the sultanate the Ministry of Health (MoH) has said.

Six cases of the tick-borne virus have been reported from different governorates it said. All victims had contracted the disease through contact with slaughtered or live animals an MoH official was quoted in the state media as saying.
