The student carrying his school bag could have been run over by cars as he walked along the bridge heading towards Humaid bin Saqr intersection thinking that the route would lead him to school.
A motorist informed the police who used cameras and detected the young boy walking among speeding cars on the crowded bridge.
The nearest patrol was dispatched and immediately and traffic was blocked to help the boy.
The police interrogated the boy about his family and the family was later questioned about failing to attend to the youngster. The police then dropped him off at school and ensured that he reached the classroom.
