Indonesia's FDI up 14.6 percent in 9M


(MENAFN) The foreign direct investment (FDI) into Indonesia expanded by 14.6 percent to USD18.679 billion in the January-September period annually, Xinhua reported.

Domestic investment grew by 21.6 percent to USD9.360 billion, while the combined foreign and domestic investments at the period grew by 16.8 percent to USD28.04 billion.

"The country's efforts to improve the quality of bureaucracy had been on progress recently," Chairman of Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) said in a statement.
