Elk Rapids MI October 17 2014 204 River Street Elk Rapids one of the premier real estate addresses in the Village of Elk Rapids Michigan has been named in honor of Ryan Henry LaPointe. Mr. LaPointe is currently a Elk Rapids High School student and Life Scout with the Boy Scout of America.
Located in Downtown Elk Rapids the building will now bear the name The H. Ryan Building. The building is a multi-tenant building with a broad mix of professional and retail tenants.

Mr. LaPointe is currently working on his Eagle Scout project. His project is to interview military veterans and create a living history DVD. Each veteran will share personal stories about their time serving in the military. Veterans from a number of different eras have volunteered to take part in the project. Veterans from World War 2 Korea Vietnam as well as from Iraq and Afghanistan will share their stories when they served.
The contribution back to the community and preserving the living history of our veterans was among the reasons why 204 River Street will now bear the name The H. Ryan Building.
The cut stone located in front of the building now bears the new name of 204 River Street.
