Italian Premier: Talks with Putin Poroshenko Mark Step Ahead

(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) Milan October 17 (QNA) - Talks involving Presidents Vladimir Putin of Russia and Petro Poroshenko of Ukraine and the leaders of Europe's four largest countries mark a "step ahead" on resolving the conflict in Ukraine Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi said.

Renzi told reporters that the leaders had a "constructive discussion" building on a peace plan for eastern Ukraine agreed upon last month.

"We cannot accept an unstable Ukraine and so we will do all in our power to give back hope to Ukraine but ... we care very much about the possibility to involve again Russia in the international situation" he added .(QNA)
