De Mistura Expresses International Concern over Stability in Lebanon
(MENAFN- QNA) Lebanese Prime Minister Tammam Salam met here on Thursday with the Special Envoy of the United Nations to Syria, Staffan de Mistura, who expressed international concern over the stability of Lebanon.
De Mistura assured after the meeting that the international community supported Lebanon in carrying the heavy burdens, according to National News Agency (NNA).
"We are sure that your country will end up getting out of this crisis," he said.
"The international community must help Lebanon in terms of the crisis caused by the presence of displaced people," he urged, explaining that "the stability of Lebanon is vital for the region and for the international community."
