(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Preliminary rounds for the 11th season of Bahrain National Drag Racing Championship kicked off on Wednesday in preparation for qualification round tomorrow.
Speaking to KUNA, head of the drag racing and Q8 team at the Quarter Mile Racing Club Sheikh Duaij Al-Fahad Al-Sabah said that the Kuwaiti racers are completely ready for the championship which will see the participation of over 50 outstanding drag racers.
Sheikh Duaij, who heads the 80-kilometers Kuwaiti team, said tomorrow's qualification rounds will put the top racers for final rounds scheduled for next Friday.
Sheikh Duaij expressed hope that Kuwaiti racers achieve good results.
The championship will witness car and bike drag racing competitions of various categories.
