China's outbound investment up 21.6 percent in 9M


(MENAFN) Official data showed that Chinese firms have posted a growth in their investment overseas of 21.6 percent in the January-September period of 2014, Xinhua reported.

Compared to the first eight months of the same year, the investment growth accelerated from 15.3 percent, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce figures showed.

China's outbound direct investment (ODI) by non-financial firms reached USD74.96 billion in the first nine months, up 21.6 percent from a year earlier, the ministry said.
