Obama Urges Japan to Do More in Fight against Ebola


(MENAFN- QNA) US President Barack Obama asked Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe to do more to fight the Ebola epidemic in West Africa, the White House said.

"The two leaders agreed that the international community urgently needs to do more to address this health security emergency, by providing personnel, supplies, and funds in support of the effort," the White House said in a statement.

Obama has also canceled a planned trip to campaign in New Jersey and Connecticut to hold a meeting on Ebola, the White House said.
