(MENAFN- QNA) HE Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani chaired Wednesday the cabinet meeting that was held at the Emiri Diwan.
After the meeting, HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud said that the cabinet made a number of decisions including the approval of amending a number of provisions in law no. 9 of 1993 on regulating the work of joint committees. The cabinet amended bonuses of joint committees. The cabinet also allowed delegating Ministers in to name committee members. Ministries and government authorities must ensure when they recommend a new committee that its work does not interfere with an existing committee.
The cabinet approved a proposal by the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology to include a representative from the Ministry in Maritime Law Permanent Committee.
The cabinet also approved a draft agreement in aviation services between the government of the State of Qatar and its counterpart in the Republic of Burkina Faso. (MORE)
