French, Libyan FMs discuss borders, terrorism in Libya


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius held talks with his Libyan counterpart Mohammad Al-Dairi Tuesday on the situation in Libya and other matters of mutual interest.

Fabius expressed full support for the Libyan government and the legitimate parliament that was elected on June 25, a foreign ministry statement said.

The two top diplomats expressed concern over easy infiltration of the Libyan borders, spread of terrorist acts and illegal trade in goods, it added.

Fabius and Al-Dairi commended the UN mediation among the conflicting parties in Libya.
