Michael Gahler to head the EP election observation mission in Tunisia


(MENAFNEditorial) BRUSSELS Kingdom of Belgium October 14 2014/African Press Organization (APO)/ -- Michael Gahler (EPP DE) will lead a 7-strong MEP delegation which will observe the legislative elections in Tunisia scheduled for 26 October 2014. The European Parliament's delegation will be deployed as part of the EU Election Observation Mission to Tunisia headed by the Chief Observer MEP Annemia Neyts-Uytterbroek (ALDE BE).

The MEPs will travel to Tunisia from 24 to 28 October. Preliminary conclusions will be presented in a press conference held jointly by the Chief Observer and the chair of the EP delegation on 28 October in Tunis.
