On October 15 HauteButch is launching a campaign on Kickstarter in order to raise the $20000 necessary to produce the 2015 collection. The Kickstarter backers will get early access to the collection and save money by pledging on the crowdfunding website. They can choose from the whole line of fashion accessories and footwear: a signature silk bowtie a jersey tee a sophisticated pair of watch cufflinks to a tuxedo shirt or a GOTHAM jacket among others. The most generous backers will have a unique opportunity to name a jacket in the new collection.
Kickstarter is a well known fundraising tool for technology startups and game creators. But it also has helped to raise over $36 million for fashion projects including those for the LGBT community. HauteButch’s founder wants to give the customers the power to vote through their pledges what fashion products should be included in the new collection.
