Ras Al Khaimah Governments smart moves

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The eGovernment Authority of Ras Al Khaimah is all set to convert the community here to an online one and boost local government services.

Ahmed bin Saeed Al Sayah Director-General of the authority told Khaleej Times on the sidelines of Gitex Technology Week 2014 that the authority introduced “an outstanding application” in 2010 in a bid to provide government services through a variety of channels.

“These span infrastructure services along with the procedures and applications related to customers and technology and providing services via several channels including e-gate self-service machines and cell phones.”

These are added to performance appraisal rating scales that help provide an inclusive vision for the leadership to take smart decisions he added.

He explained the authority provides centralised services to the government departments in RAK.

Al Sayah said the authority is participating in Gitex for the first time since its inception in 2004. “We are exhibiting some of the new e-projects; smart projects and services being provided to companies and individuals; and the RAK eGovernment’s pioneering smart apps.”
