Oman Cement net profit down 39.5 percent in Q3


(MENAFN) Oman Cement reported a drop in its net profit, which was down by 39.5 percent in the July-September period compared to the same period last year, Gulf Business reported.

Oman, which is one of the sultanate's largest cement producers, said it registered a net profit after tax of USD6.0 million in the third quarter of this year, compared with USD9.84 million in the corresponding period of 2013.

During the first nine months of 2014, Cement made a net profit of USD29.52 million, down from USD32.11 million in the January-September period last year.
