(MENAFN) Ooredoo is planning to continue expanding its range of mobile money services, which are available across its footprint, with the launch of microfinance programs in Tunisia and Indonesia, after the company reached a milestone by managing more than 1 million transactions a month in Qatar, Tunisia and Indonesia, Gulf Times reported.
Due to this growth, Ooredoo is looking to expand its mobile money portfolio by launching innovative new services in two of its key markets. In Tunisia, in cooperation with La Poste Tunisienne and Taysir Microfinance, Ooredoo is developing a complete solution for mobile microfinance, while launching two microfinance pilot programs in Indonesia.
The company, which announced registering a significant growth in Indonesia this year, is also announced it has plans to launch the services in Iraq and Myanmar in the coming months.
