UN Secretary General Arrives in Gaza


(MENAFN- QNA) UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon arrived in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday for a several-hour visit.

Ban began a meeting with ministers of the National Reconciliation Government, on top of them the Deputy Prime Minister Ziad Abu Amr.

For its part, the media office of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said that the Secretary General will visit the UN Development Programme and the schools which include thousands of Palestinian refugees whose homes were demolished during the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip.
