Vietnam, EU pledge concluding free trade deal


(MENAFN) Vietnam's Prime Minister and European Commission President pledged their commitment to conclude a free trade agreement aims to boost bilateral relations, QNA reported.

The European Union (EU) is Vietnam's second-biggest trading partner with trade amounting to USD35 billion a year. The ASEM summit will bring together more than 50 countries for discussions on economic and security issues.

"This is an important deal that will allow all parties to resolve the current and future economic challenges we are facing," Vietnamese Prime Minister said in a statement.
