Explosion in Kabul Injures Two Civilians


(MENAFN- QNA) At least two civilians were injured following an explosion in Afghan capital Kabul early Tuesday.

According to the Afghan Ministry of Interior officials, the incident took place in the 5th police district of Kabul city.

The ministry spokesman Sediq Sediqi said a magnetic bomb was planted in a civilian vehicle and went off in Kote Sangi area, according to the Afghan (Khaama Press).

On Monday, two explosions took place in Kabul province, leaving at least one person dead and nearly 25 others injured.

The first blast on Monday took place in Qabil area after a suicide bomber detonated a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED).

The second blast took place in Qarabgh district following an improvised explosive device (IED) explosion which left at least 22 people injured.

No group including the Taliban militants has so far claimed responsibility behind the incident.
