(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Two Algerian airmen were killed when their military aircraft crashed during training at Hassi Bahbah town in Djelfa Province, southern the Algerian capital, the Defense Ministry announced Monday.
The Russian-made Sukhoi of the Algerian air force fell from the air while conducting drills, the ministry said in a statement, adding that the pilot and the navigating officer were killed in the crash.
An investigative panel has been deployed to the accident scene in order to probe the causes of the accident, said the ministry.
