Nationalist parties dominate Bosnian elections


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Serbian and Croatian nationalist parties were dominating outcome of Bosnia's general elections, while the labor Democratic Party was leading the Bosnian Muslims' parties, initial final results showed Monday.

The results, cited by local media, showed the Serbian extremist socialist party winning 40 percent of the parliament in the Bosnian-Serb republic, while a coalition led by the right Croatian Democratic Union controlled 12 percent of seats.

The Bosnian-Muslim Democratic Party got 27 percent of the federal parliament, showed the results.

The winning parties are expected to start talks next week regarding the formation of the government and local councils.
