QSE Index Swings Back to Green With 62.06 Points


(MENAFN- QNA) Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) index swung back into the green zone Monday, adding 62.06 points (+0.46%) The bourse closed at 13,478.12 points today up from 13,478.12 points registered Sunday.

The trading value rose to QR 557.530 Million from QR 552.740 Million registered Sunday.

The trading volume dropped to 10.316,718 shares from 5,623 transactions compared to 11,362,166 shares from 5,862 transactions on Sunday.

The market capitalization increased to QR 726.112 Billion from QR 723.278 Billion registered Sunday.

Indices of all sectors ended in the green zone with telecom sector bouncing back +2.15% when it closed at 1,632.82 points. Ooredoo jumped +2.99% to gain QR 3.80 when it closed at QR 130.90.

Real estate index was up +0.78% to 2,727.74 points while banks and financial services index was slightly up by +0.19% to 3,336.43 points.

Ezdan Holding share was up +1.11% to QR 19.99 while United Development Company (UDC) was up 0.54% to QR 27.95.

From the 43 listed companies, shares of 42 saw trading today. From these 22 made gains, 16 declined and four remained unchanged.
