German exports reduced 5.8 percent in August


(MENAFN) German exports reduced 5.8 percent in August, posting the biggest decrease since the global financial crisis in 2009, The Peninsula Qatar reported.

However, this drop reflects that Europe's largest economy is faltering amid broader eurozone weakness and crises abroad.

Therefore, Germany ranks the fourth-largest by nominal GDP in the world, and fifth by GDP.
