Suicide Attack in Capital Kabul Leaves One Dead


(MENAFN- QNA) A suicide attack rocked the Afghan capital Kabul early Monday with preliminary reports suggesting the target of the attack was coalition forces convoy which left at least one person dead.

The Afghan Deputy interior minister for security Gen. Ayub Salangi confirmed that the attack was carried out by a suicide bomber using a vehicle-borne improvised explosive device (VBIED), according to the Afghan (Khaama Press).

Gen. Salangi said at least one person was killed and three others were injured following the attack which took place in Qabil area on Pul-e-Charkhi highway.
